Prices shown on this site, including the Custom PC Builder and pre-built systems, are estimates. Final pricing is confirmed in a written quote from Byzantium Technologies. Component availability and pricing change frequently.
Pre-built systems are offered while supplies last. If a listed component becomes unavailable, we may substitute one of equal or better specification. Systems may appear different from photos. Build times are estimates. Connecticut sales tax applies where required.
Repair and support work is quoted before it begins. Managed services are provided under a separate written agreement.
Remote sessions are initiated only at your request and end when the session is closed. You may end a session at any time.
Custom-built and pre-built systems include a 1-year labor warranty, with optional extended parts-and-labor coverage. Full terms, exclusions, and claim instructions are on our Warranty & Returns page. All PCs are built to order.
Because every system is built to order, cancellations are free before parts are ordered, carry a 15% restocking fee (or our actual supplier costs, if greater) after parts are ordered, and delivered systems may be returned within 14 days for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee with return shipping at the buyer's expense. Activated software and performed services are not refundable. Warranty defects are repaired or replaced at no charge and are not subject to a restocking fee. Any repair, upgrade, transfer, clean-up, or clone carries some risk to the data on a device. You are responsible for keeping a current backup of your data before any service begins. Byzantium Technologies is not responsible for loss of data, software, or settings during service, except where caused by our gross negligence.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Byzantium Technologies' total liability for any claim arising from our products or services is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or downtime.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
We may update these terms for new purchases. The version in effect on the date of your quote or invoice applies to that transaction.
